According to the various articles I have been researching, English was a second language for Al Capone. Capone was feared when he first moved to Alcatraz, however according to online sources he was soon over powered as his empire and health crumbled at the same time.

Originally Capone’s health deteriorated from a stroke, however he began to recover slightly. But he then developed Pneumonia and passed away from it in 1947.
